After taking part in a vacation scheme at Muckle in 2015, the friendly and open culture of the firm really stood out. Everyone made an effort to welcome her to the team, making it easy to ask for advice and to learn the ropes. Hannah completed her law degree at Newcastle University and an LPC MSc at University of Law and joined Muckle in 2017 as a trainee.
Her first seat was in the Real Estate department, where Hannah supported on a wide variety of work including acting on commercial property transactions for landlords, tenants, banks and investors as well as providing real estate support in corporate transactions. Hannah then moved to the Banking, Restructuring and Insolvency team in April 2018 for her second seat where she acted for a range of clients including corporate and individual borrowers, national banks and alternative finance providers.
In September 2018 Hannah moved to the Employment department for her third and fourth seat. Hannah has since supported all aspects of employment law, from day to day advice to advising on large corporate transactions and restructures. This has involved experience of contentious and non-contentious employment issues, including tribunal experience, drafting contracts of employment, service agreements, policies and procedures and staff handbooks.
In her spare time Hannah can usually be found wrapped up in a good book. She also loves to travel and keep fit and is an active member of the Muckle Runners.
