After taking part in a vacation scheme at Muckle in 2015, the friendly and open culture of the firm really stood out. Everyone made an effort to welcome her to the team, making it easy to ask for advice and to learn the ropes. Hannah completed her law degree at Newcastle University and an LPC MSc at University of Law. She returned to Muckle in 2017 as a trainee and completed her first seat in the Real Estate team and her second seat in the Banking, Insolvency and Restructuring team.
During her time in the Real Estate department Hannah had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of transactions including acting on commercial property transactions for landlords, tenants, banks, and investors and providing real estate support in corporate transactions. Her day to day work involved carrying out lease reports, reports on title, drafting enquiries and replies to enquiries and liaising with the client, drafting various deeds, transfers and contracts and carrying out post-completion matters. Hannah had the opportunity to work on various files from the initial instruction stage through the completion, giving her a wide range of experience. As a trainee in the Banking department, Hannah worked on various types of finance transactions for lenders and borrowers including refinancing, restructuring, new lending and advising on security and guarantees. Hannah moved to the Employment department in September 2018 for her third seat.
In her spare time Hannah can usually be found with a good book. She enjoys travel and is hoping to visit more faraway places soon. She likes to keep fit and has become involved in the Muckle running club since joining the firm.
