Hayden started his training contract in September 2017 after joining the firm as a Paralegal in the Construction and Engineering team in June 2016. He graduated from Northumbria University in 2015 and although originally from the South, now calls Newcastle his home.
Hayden remained in the Construction and Engineering team for the first seat of his training contract, working on both contentious and non-contentious matters. His day to day tasks range from preparing building contracts, professional appointments and collateral warranties to helping run adjudications and multi-million pound court cases. In April 2018 Hayden moved to the Corporate team for his second seat and assisted fee earners on various transactions including sales, acquisitions, public company deals and reorganisations. Hayden is now in his third seat and, based the Real Estate team, he is currently working on various property transactions.
Outside of work Hayden is a keen runner and javelin thrower, having even thrown in the Olympic Stadium in London. He’s also a keen golfer and was proud to see that the British Masters was held in the North East, at Close House, in 2017.
