Sarah has significant experience in dealing with residential tenancy issues and acts for both social housing landlords and private landlords to assist them to deal effectively in respect of their stock.
She specialises in everything from possession proceedings in relation to Rent Act, Assured, Assured Shorthold and Secure tenancies, to anti-social behaviour matters, including issues related to the Equality Act and the Human Rights Act, disrepair, access issues and trespass.
Her commercial property experience is extensive, she has spent much of her career providing strategic advice to enable commercial property landlords and tenants to effectively manage their properties and agreements. From termination of tenancies, break notices and advice on dilapidations to issues arising out of non-payment of rent and the impacts of the legislation and guidance around the impact of Coronavirus, Sarah provides sensible and pragmatic advice on all commercial property issues.

With over 22 years’ experience in handling property disputes, Sarah understands the social housing sector inside out. She regularly acts for the firm’s social housing clients on all manner of issues including nuisance and anti-social behaviour matters, disrepair, access issues and trespass. Sarah also deals regularly with injunction matters, including access and anti-social behaviour injunctions, through to committal for breach. Sarah also regularly provides training on a variety of relevant matters to various social landlord clients.

Sarah regularly works closely with our Agriculture, Estates & Rural Property team to assist them with strategic, practical and pragmatic advice around issues affecting rural, agricultural property and estates.
