About Roland
Roland is a solicitor in the Employment team. He joined Muckle in 2018 to specialise in employment law, and advises across all aspects of this area including drafting contracts and service agreements, providing TUPE advice, advising on corporate and commercial transactions and ensuring client paperwork is in good order.
Roland finds disputes and tribunal work particularly interesting; he calls on his previous dispute resolution and litigation experience in dealing with these matters. Although he enjoys finding practical ways to resolve disputes wherever possible, Roland sees matters through to tribunal where amicable resolution isn't possible.
Recently, Roland has assisted clients in defending unfair dismissal claims, age discrimination claims and victimisation/harassment claims.
Roland provided invaluable support to us during a difficult period of transformation for our charity. He was accessible and provided professional, measured counsel to us on the full range of employment issues.
