Five Muckle nominees shortlisted in the North East Professionals Awards

We’re proud to announce that five of our people have been shortlisted in the ‘Young Lawyer of the Year’ category of the Insider North East Young Professionals Awards 2026.

 Tom Small (associate) and Jessica Gray and Lydia Stewart (solicitors) in our real estate team, Amy Carlton, associate in our commercial debt recovery team, and Katharine Ronn, solicitor in our commercial team, have all been recognised for their excellence throughout the year.

At the top of their game

Now in their fifth year, the awards celebrate talented professionals (aged 35 and under) from across the region who are making an impact in their chosen sector.

The shortlist news comes at an exciting time for the firm, as the real estate team took home Property Law Firm of the Year at the Insider Property Awards 2026, marking the sixth time our team has won the award.

Recognising excellence

Winners will be showcased at the ceremony on Thursday, 3 December 2026 at the Hilton Newcastle.
