About Katharine
Katharine is a solicitor in our commercial team. She reviews and drafts commercial contracts, advises on contracts and terms and conditions, as well as supports on various other commercial matters.
Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Katharine gained experience in our dispute resolution team, where she assisted with commercial disputes involving contract, negligence, defamation, and breach of privacy. She also worked in our corporate finance team during her training contract.
Before joining Muckle in 2022, Katharine completed her law conversion and LPC courses at Northumbria University and spent time working in alternative dispute resolution.
Public Sector
Katharine is a solicitor in our commercial team, specialising in advising public sector organisations on complex commercial and procurement matters. Her expertise spans reviewing and drafting contracts, advising on terms and conditions, structures for funding agreements and managing procurement documentation.
Known for her practical approach, Katharine regularly supports local and combined authorities on major projects. She works seamlessly alongside internal legal teams to deliver clear, commercial advice that addresses potential risks before they turn into problems, keeping projects on track and compliant. She also advises public bodies on compliance and legal documentation for public tenders, while providing proactive risk management to prevent contract disputes before they arise.
