Muckle supports baby brand’s multi-million investment move into new European headquarters

Muckle has helped leading baby products brand, Nuby to move into its new European headquarters in Gateshead, bringing a £5.7million investment to the borough.

Nuby has relocated to a 115,000 sq ft facility in Birtley, creating new jobs and establishing a long-term base for its European operations. The site currently employs 58 people, with four new roles and further opportunities expected as the company’s expansion continues.

Muckle senior associate, Beth Thompson was delighted to provide the legal support to Nuby in their move which reflects their confidence in the North East as a place to invest, grow and do business.

Vote of confidence in North East

The site in Gateshead was chosen in part for its central location within the North East and excellent access to the A1, providing strong transport links for staff, customers and distribution networks.

The company worked closely with Gateshead Council throughout the relocation, with the investment helping to strengthen Gateshead’s economic base, bringing high-quality employment opportunities and helping support a thriving local economy.
