Muckle to host free law clinics for local charities
To mark Small Charity Week 2023, we're hosting free legal clinics for small and medium-sized charities in partnership with Connected Voice.
If you're a small or medium-sized charity and need support in the following areas of law, get in touch and book your space.
- Data protection e.g. drafting privacy notices, dealing with subject access requests
- Incorporation / restructuring / mergers / collaborations / outsourcing
- Governance reviews
- Trading (including setting up trading subsidiaries)
- Corporate partnerships (including sponsorship)
- Fundraising
- General commercial contract issues
- Compliance issues with the Charity Commission or Companies House
- General employment / HR queries
Each appointment is 45 minutes. The advice clinic is currently being held on the following days/times on a first-come, first-served basis:
Thursday 22nd June - 9.30 am until midday
Thursday 22nd June - 1 pm until 4 pm
Friday 23rd June - 1.30 pm until 4.30 pm
Monday 26th June - 9.30 am until 2 pm
Tuesday 27th June - 10 am until 3 pm
Thursday 29th June - 9.30 am until 4.30 pm
Friday 30th June - 10 am until 4.30 pm
Tuesday 4th July - 10 am until 4.30 pm
The clinics will be held in person at our offices (Time Central, 32 Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4BF). However, online meetings can be arranged if needed.
We'll ask you to complete a quick questionnaire before the appointment so we're fully prepped on the issue you need advice on.
