Muckle shortlisted for prestigious charity award
We’re thrilled to have been nominated for the Heart of the Community Award at the prestigious North East Business Awards.
The ‘Heart of the Community’ award celebrates excellence in corporate, social and ethical activity. Having previously won the award 4 times, this will be the 7th time we’ve been shortlisted in this category. This nomination comes as we celebrate the Muckle Community Fund’s 20th Anniversary. To date we’ve made grants of over £600,000 to nearly 600 charities throughout the North East and Cumbria. Recent grant recipients have included Sunderland Amateur Boxing Club, Yarm Youth and Community Association and The Chopwell Regeneration Group.

As well as the work we do through our Community Fund, we work hard to be a responsible business – leading the way in agile working, green initiatives and pro bono work.

The awards will be held on 29th September 2022 in the Grand Marquee at Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield where we will be up against some stiff competition.
