About Laura
Recognised by Legal 500 UK as a 'Rising star', Laura is a senior associate in our banking team with a wealth of experience in the insolvency sector, acting for insolvency practitioners, claims funders, creditors, and directors.
In fact, Laura is one of the very few practitioners in the North East who has built a specialism in contentious insolvency, both in the personal insolvency and corporate insolvency context and has acted for a number of insolvency practitioners both regionally and nationally.
She has also advised directors in the context of the liquidation of companies and their consequent duties, as well as advising creditors through the insolvency process and making the process clear and understandable.
Laura is able to bring commercial awareness to proceedings and ensure a quick, cost-effective and satisfactory resolution for the parties involved.
