North East business energy savings are Troo good

8th Jun 2019 | Energy

Regional specialist energy broker and benchmarking business Troo are working with North East England Chambers of Commerce, as the preferred energy supplier to the Chamber members.

Just under 40 per cent of UK businesses reportedly don’t shop around for the best deals when their gas or electricity contracts are up, meaning many firms are paying over the odds.

Troo potential

Troo passes on the full saving to clients and instead receive a one-off set fee from the energy suppliers, a model which should help Chamber members manage energy costs more effectively.

Troo’s chief executive officer, Andrew Richardson, said: “We are providing members with an all-encompassing energy service, with transparency at the core of how we work. This partnership makes perfect sense as the Chamber and Troo have a very similar ethos when it comes to supporting and working with businesses - and it’s the Chamber members who will benefit in the long run.”
