Muckle LLP’s Sports Team celebrate Sport England Appointment
Our Sports team are celebrating after being appointed by Sport England to its exclusive National Legal Panel.
We are the only law firm in the North to be recognised for sport in the Legal 500 rankings, and join Sport England’s exclusive list of 10 law firms authorised to provide a full legal service to over 300 national governing bodies (NGBs).
Continued support for National Governing Bodies
Appointed to The Legal Panel Framework, a collaboration between Sport England, Sport Wales, UK Sport and the Sport & Recreation Alliance, Muckle will continue its work supporting national governing bodies, their member leagues and affiliated clubs.
The team has advised previously on legal matters as diverse as HMRC’s consultation on the community amateur sports clubs (CASCs), the protection of sports facilities as assets of community value (ACVs) and the property, construction and tax aspects of indoor and outdoor multi-sports facilities development projects.

We were recently appointed by The FA to support the nationwide roll-out of their £200m Parklife facilities.
