This award is a thank you to Oasis Community Housing's valued corporate partners for support over the past year. In addition to recognising the successes achieved over the past year, the award symbolises an opportunity to look to the future and consider how we can continue to work together to build stronger communities.
We were commended for working on some of the North East’s largest real estate transactions over the last 12 months.
The judges were highly impressed with our real estate finance team which offers bespoke separate lending solutions to banks operating within the rural property sector.
This award recognises businesses that show commitment to recruiting, training and retaining a skilled and diverse workforce, which has led to an improvement in business performance. Shortlisted businesses had to demonstrate how diversity and inclusion are prioritised and play a pivotal role in their culture.
The Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse Awards recognise the array of legal talent across the North, North West and Yorkshire & the Humber, celebrating their achievements over the past year.
We’re proud to have been again awarded the Better Health at Work award for “Maintaining Excellence” in 2024, recognising our commitment to creating a healthy workplace environment.
Building on our cumulative success within the framework, this achievement recognises our long-term dedication to Better Health at Work and completion of its Bronze, Silver, Gold and Continuing Excellence awards.
Hugh Welch, senior partner and head of Muckle's ESG strategy, has been shortlisted. This category acknowledges truly exceptional individual contributions to improving social mobility in private practice and is open to lawyers and non-lawyers. Judges will be looking for evidence of involvement in/leadership of key initiatives to boost representation in law firms or involvement in broader industry-wide initiatives.
This award is for the best project intended to boost social mobility within the organisation/ profession by attracting and retaining talented lawyers from less privileged backgrounds, with an emphasis on initiatives focused on or led from regions outside of London.
We are certified as a B Corporation® (or B Corp™) becoming the first legal firm in the North East and Cumbria to join a growing group of companies reinventing business by pursuing purpose as well as profit.
This award is given to the member organisations which have made a significant contribution to the development and retention of their female workforce, whilst inspiring the next female generation.
The judges commended us for our consistency in benefiting women in the workplace; we received this accolade for the second year in a row. Our mentoring, benefits package and working parents group were named as stand-out initiatives.
