A real estate lawyer with extensive knowledge of the energy sector, particularly renewable developments, Will’s recent work has included advising start up business in relation to the RHI Scheme together with acting for both developers and land owners on a number of ground based photovoltaic developments.
Over recent years Will has also advised on a range of large projects, such as, option and lease arrangements for two biomass power stations, including advising on loading arrangements, taking security over IP, technology licensing and customer warranty claims. He has also been involved with several large wind farm projects, including regulatory advice relating to disclosure requests to a public sector landowner under Environmental Information Regulations. We should also mention that Will advised on the region’s first commercial micro-hydroelectric development.
The Energy Team at Muckle is, Will strongly believes, going from strength to strength as increasingly it is being appointed by clients who want to benefit from the Team’s collective energy expertise.
And energy is something that Will seems to have in abundance. When he isn’t teaching scuba diving in the North Sea he’s agreeing to do yet another long charity cycle ride, participating in a spot of sport, or, inevitably, doing ‘daddy duties.’
