The self-proclaimed Imelda Marcos of Muckle, Amy owns over a hundred pairs of shoes and professes to have an uncontrollable urge to buy more.
However, when she isn’t eyeing up the latest in footwear fashion on the High Street, Amy uses her skills to advise employers on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, from recruitment through to dismissal.
Amy has experience in advising universities, academies, maintained and private schools on a wide variety of HR issues. This ranges from day to day disciplinary and grievance issues, performance and absence management, varying terms and conditions of employment, restructuring and making redundancies on an individual and collective basis and working alongside trade unions. Amy also provides bespoke training on employment law issues to organisations in the private, education and charitable sectors.
As well as providing excellent advice, Amy is happy to accept it too. Especially from craftsmen who can help with the renovation of her much-loved Edwardian home.
