About David
As an associate solicitor in our top-tier commercial team, David gives commercial advice in a variety of sectors, including: manufacturing, tech, logistics, and renewable energy, as well as advising on procurement matters.
Having qualified as an Isle of Man advocate in 2014 in a leading offshore commercial firm, where he advised on corporate and banking matters, David requalified as a solicitor in July 2021 and relocated to the North East at the end of 2022.

David specialises in providing public bodies and private sector organisations with advice on commercial contracts and various procurement matters. Notable matters include assisting the Isle of Man Treasury with the procurement of a new indirect taxation software system for its’ Customs and Excise division. David has assisted Tees Valley Combined Authority as well as various educational institutions in the North East with contract queries relating to procurements.
