Thirteen nominations at the Insider North East Dealmakers Awards 2026
We’re delighted to announce we’ve been shortlisted for thirteen awards at the Insider North East Dealmakers Awards 2026.
It’s fantastic to see so many of our clients' deals celebrated in this year’s nominations.
Corporate Law Firm of the Year
Our team has once again been nominated for Corporate Law Firm of the Year. We have won this category ten times previously, most recently in 2025.
Corporate Lawyer of the Year
Corporate partner Adam Rayner has been shortlisted, having worked on a number of significant deals across the qualifying period, including Northstar Ventures’ investment in Nunabio and the investment in Oddballs to Alcuin Capital Partners.
Emerging Dealmaker of the Year
Ben Evans has been shortlisted in this category in recognition of the significant deals he has worked on, including Aspire Technology Solutions’ LDC investment and Hays Travel’s acquisition of Victoria Travel Group Limited.
Deal of the Year (sub £5m)
We’re delighted to see two deals shortlisted in the year Deal of the Year (sub £5m); Foresight's investment in Aircards and Maven Capital Partners' investment in iPac Packaging Innovations.
Deal of the Year (£5m-£20m)
Three deals have been shortlisted in the Deal of the Year (£5m-£20m) category, including the investment in Origin Tech by BGF, LDC’s investment in Shoptimised and Northstar Ventures’ investment in Nunabio.
Deal of the Year (£20m+)
In the Deal of the Year (£20m+) category, we were successfully shortlisted for three deals: BGF’s investment in Everflow, Hays Travel’s acquisition of Victoria Travel Group and the investment in Oddballs to Alcuin Capital Partners.
Deal of the Year National/International
In this year’s new Deal of the Year National/International category, the investment in Oddballs by Alcuin Capital Partners was also shortlisted as well as the reinvestment in Aspire by LDC.
This year’s winners will be announced at the annual North East Dealmakers Awards Dinner, set to take place at the Hilton Hotel, Gateshead, on 24 September 2026.
