As a longstanding corporate partner of Oasis Community Housing, we were delighted to be awarded with a 'Silver' Shared Value Award at the charity's annual Black & Gold Ball fundraiser.

The Shared Value Awards, which were held this year on Friday 13 June at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, celebrate the work that the businesses do to support the charity in its ultimate goal of ending homelessness.

Longstanding partnership

Hugh Welch, senior partner at Muckle, said: "Our long-standing partnership with the team at Oasis is important to us; it’s been a privilege to work with Oasis on a variety of initiatives over the years, and we’re delighted once again to win a Shared Value Award.

Oasis Community Housing supports almost 1,300 people every year facing homelessness across North-East and South-East England. For the last 40 years, the charity has been working to address both immediate needs and the root causes of homelessness.

Vital support to the community

Sarah Lister, Oasis Community Housing’s acting chief executive, said: “Our Shared Value Awards recognise those businesses that go above and beyond in support of our charity.

“Every year we deliver vital support, housing and, moreover, a place people feel they belong. We could not deliver what we do without the generous support of our valued corporate partners and the dedicated individuals within these businesses.

“These awards reflect the real and lasting difference these partnerships make to helping people to rebuild their lives.”
