Horizon Products acquired by Benjamin Moore
We're delighted to have supported private-label chemical manufacturer, Horizon Products Ltd, with the sale of its manufacturing facility to Benjamin Moore.
North East-based Horizon Products Ltd's manufacturing facility at Eltringham Works in Prudhoe has been acquired by US paint company Benjamin Moore. The strategic transaction is set to expand the site's capabilities and supply chain stability within the region.
New growth opportunities
As part of its global expansion plans, US paint and coatings business Benjamin Moore has established two wholly owned subsidiaries. The company has operated for over 140 years and BM Prudhoe is the company’s second subsidiary in England, whilst C&R Scotland will be its first in Scotland.
A team of our lawyers supported Horizon Products on the sale of its business to BM Prudhoe Ltd.
The transaction comes at a time of growing demand for premium paints and colour innovation and will enable Benjamin Moore to extend its presence in the UK market.
