Gillian Scribbins wins Northern Powerhouse Award for Dispute Resolution Leading Associate of the Year

We are delighted that Gillian Scribbins, associate solicitor in our dispute resolution team, was awarded Dispute Resolution Leading Associate of the year at last night's Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse Awards. Gillian’s award was one of 12 we were shortlisted for.

The awards showcase the top law firms, lawyers and in-house legal departments across the region, recognising excellence across a varied spectrum of practice areas.

Undisputed excellence

Over her career, Gillian has advised some of the firm’s biggest clients on contractual, data protection, shareholder, intellectual property, construction and regulatory disputes, and provided topical crisis management advice.

Featured on the Pro Bono Recognition List, Gillian has previously been recognised for her commitment to supporting charities and not-for-profits, having completed 25 hours of pro bono work in 2025.

Our managing partner, Anthony Evans, attended the awards in Leeds and accepted the award on Gillian’s behalf.
