Muckle LLP has advised leading managed IT and cyber security provider Aspire Technology Solutions on its acquisition of Warrington-based Sentis Managed Solutions, marking the latest milestone in Aspire’s continued expansion across the UK.

The acquisition adds more than 80 customers and an experienced team to Aspire, while establishing a stronger presence for the business in the North West. Sentis is a long-established Managed Service Provider with a strong track record of sustained growth, serving predominantly mid-sized organisations — a market closely aligned with Aspire’s existing customer base.

For Muckle, the transaction builds on its relationship with Aspire and its experience supporting the business through its acquisitive growth strategy.

The deal follows Aspire’s acquisitions of Cloud Cover IT in January 2024, CloudCoCo’s managed IT services business in November 2024 and NVT Group in March 2026. The transactions form part of Aspire’s strategy to combine organic growth with targeted acquisitions as it continues to expand its regional presence and broaden the services and expertise available to customers.

Following the acquisition, all Sentis employees will join the Aspire group and trade under the Aspire brand. Sentis co-founder Neil Homer will remain with the business and play an active role in the integration, while fellow co-founders Martin Perry and Michael Cox will step back from day-to-day operations and continue to support the business in ambassadorial roles.

The acquisition will enable Sentis customers to benefit from Aspire’s wider capabilities across cyber security, managed services, secure networks and enterprise voice, while retaining relationships with the existing Sentis team.

Aspire is backed by leading private equity investor LDC, which first invested in the business in 2022 and reinvested in November 2025 alongside new minority co-investor Federated Hermes. Aspire is targeting growth in annual revenue from £71.7 million in FY26 to £100 million by FY30.

Philip Clare and Stephanie Brown led the advice provided by Muckle’s corporate team, with support from Ben Evans.

Ben, solicitor at Muckle LLP said:

“We’re pleased to have supported Aspire on its acquisition of Sentis and to continue our relationship with the business as it pursues its ambitious growth strategy.

“This is another strong example of Aspire’s approach to strategic acquisitions — identifying businesses with complementary capabilities, strong customer relationships and talented teams, and bringing them into the wider group while maintaining continuity for customers.

“Sentis has established an impressive position in the North West, and the acquisition strengthens Aspire’s presence in an important regional market. It has been a pleasure to work with the Aspire team again and to support them through another significant transaction.”

Chris Fraser, CEO and founder of Aspire Technology Solutions, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Sentis to Aspire and look forward to working together. Our previous acquisitions have given us a clear understanding of what effective integration requires. Building trusted relationships, nurturing talent, and doing the right thing for customers are key, and they’re values we see clearly in Sentis.

“That gives us confidence in the fit between our two companies and in what we can achieve. Sentis has built an impressive position in the region, and bringing our teams and expertise together will create new opportunities for customers and colleagues alike.”

Neil Homer, Co-founder of Sentis Managed Solutions, said:

“Sentis has built real momentum, and joining Aspire gives us access to the investment and wider capabilities to take that forward. It enables us to offer more to our customers while retaining the relationships they value.

“This is an exciting milestone for the business. I’m looking forward to playing an active role in the next chapter.”

Muckle LLP advised Aspire alongside Evolution Capital and BDO. Sentis was advised by Mackrell LLP and KBS Corporate.
