New National Minimum Wage levels

Changes to National Minimum Wage have been implemented on 1 October 2014.

There are different rates of national minimum wage for four categories of worker:

1. Standard adult rate. This rate applies to workers aged 21 or over (there is no upper age limit) (National Minimum Wage Act 1998).
