Qualified solicitor Jordon Goodman and Philip Clare of Muckle LLP

Jordon Goodman is celebrating after qualifying as a solicitor into our award-winning corporate team.

Jordon, who joined Muckle in 2023 on our graduate training programme, has now secured a role in our corporate team, which recently won Corporate Law Firm of the Year at the Insider Dealmakers Awards 2025.

Having initially worked in digital marketing for several years, Jordon decided to retrain in law, studying for both his undergraduate and LPC at the University of Law, where he set his sights on a career in corporate law.

Jordon said: “From day one of my training contract, I always knew I wanted to qualify into corporate law. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know a wide range of businesses and developing my commercial awareness across companies in the North East and beyond.

Jordon also plays an active role in our Diversity and Inclusion Committee, helping to shape our approach to building a more inclusive and welcoming workplace as part of our broader commitment as a certified B Corp law firm.

“The standout thing about Muckle is the culture – it really enhances the quality of training and support you receive. There’s a strong sense of community in the office, and with hot desking, you naturally get to know people across different teams. It’s a genuinely nice place to be and people welcome you with open arms.

“Being on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee has also given me the opportunity to get involved beyond the day job and play a role in shaping a more inclusive future at the firm.”

Philip Clare, partner and head of our corporate team, said: “We’re incredibly proud to see Jordon qualify into the corporate team; he’s a great example of the talented individuals coming through our training programme. We’ve always been committed to investing in the next generation of lawyers, ensuring they gain the right experience, support and opportunities to thrive.”
