Recognised for our people-first culture at the North East Business Awards

We're delighted to have won the regional heat for Best Place to Work (Northumberland & Tyneside) in the annual North East Business Awards for the third year in a row. This time, we're joint winners with Port of Blyth.

The awards celebrate regional businesses prioritising work-life balance and well-being initiatives, recognition and attractive rewards to staff, and a commitment to career progression, training, diversity and inclusion. 

Long-term dedication to our people

Our purpose has always been to be a values-led, responsible business. Part of our commitment to using business as a force for good is a focus on looking after our people.

We’ve always believed that being a good employer and looking after our people is key to our success.

We have Investors in People ‘Platinum’ status and are ranked 2nd in the world against legal firms of the same size and ranked 69th for all Investors in People organisations (of which there are over 10,000 globally). Only 3% of organisations in the Investors in People accredited network of companies achieve Platinum status.

Most recently, we won the Better Health at Work - Maintaining Excellence Award, recognising our commitment to creating a healthy workplace environment.

Additionally, North of Tyne Combined Authority awarded us the Advanced Good Work Pledge for promoting health and wellbeing, developing a balanced workforce, valuing and rewarding, demonstrating social responsibility, and effectively communicating.

Winners of the Best Place to Work Award will be announced at the grand final on 25 September.
