The self-proclaimed Imelda Marcos of Muckle, Amy owns over a hundred pairs of shoes and professes to have an uncontrollable urge to buy more.
However, when she isn’t eyeing up the latest in footwear fashion on the High Street, Amy uses her strong people and project management skills to help advise employers on all aspects of employment law.
Working as part of multi-disciplinary teams she has a wide client base of SMEs, as well as regional and national PLCs, all of whom Amy advises on HR issues at every level, including all aspects of personnel management. This includes day to day disciplinary and grievance issues, performance and absence management, varying terms and conditions of employment, restructuring and making redundancies on an individual and collective basis. She also acts for claimants and respondents in employee tribunals and is experience in drafting employment contracts, policies and procedures so they are compliant with current legislation and provides bespoke training on employment law issues.
As well as providing excellent advice, Amy is happy to accept it too. Especially from craftsmen who can help with the renovation of her much-loved Edwardian home.
