The Tanfield Food Company has received an 800,000 euro investment from Swiss firm, Inventages Venture Capital one of the worlds largest life-sciences, nutrition and wellness-focused venture capital funds. We completed the deal in just two weeks.
Tanfield Food Company produces quality, read to eat meals, soups and sauces using 100 per cent natural ingredients from small British regional producers under the ‘Look What We Found!’ brand. We have been working with the growing business since its inception in 2004. This has included providing strategic legal advice on a series of twelve rounds of funding raising to accelerate Tanfield’s expansion.

Tanfield Food Company employs over 100 permanent staff and currently supplies many UK retailers, including Sainsburys, Waitrose, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons. The company is planning further growth in the diet and nutrition sectors. Tanfield Food Company has also gained access to the European Airline Market through meals in trays for ‘buy on board’ catering for discount and charter airlines, including Thomas Cook, Thomson Fly and Ryanair.
