Muckle wins award for supporting homelessness charity
We’re delighted to have won a Hope Honours Award from local homelessness charity, Oasis Community Housing.
The awards celebrate the valuable contributions businesses have made to the charity over the last year and were presented at the charity’s annual Black and Gold ball at Hilton Newcastle Tyne Bridge on Friday 22 May.
This is the latest in a string of awards Muckle has received from the charity – a mark of our ongoing support for the important work they do.
Valued partnerships
Our commitment to our communities has always run deep and is central to the Muckle vision. We’re genuinely thrilled to help a charity that does such vital work and we’re keen to continue our partnership with Oasis into the future. Homelessness is a blight on our society and we’re proud to make our small contribution to combat it.
Oasis Community Housing supports 1,500 people each year across the north east and south east of England. The Gateshead-based charity works to tackle both the immediate need and the root causes of homelessness through its homelessness drop-ins, emergency housing and longer-term supported accommodation projects.
Hope for the future
Oasis Community Housing CEO, Sarah Gorman said: “Hope is at the heart of who we are, and what we do at Oasis Community Housing. And our Hope Honours are a heartfelt thank you to our valued corporate partners for their long-standing support.
“From sponsorship and fundraising to volunteering and long-term strategic support, our charity-corporate partnerships help keep our services running for people who often have nowhere else to turn. And we look forward to exploring how we can continue to collaborate and build stronger, more resilient communities.”
