Tekmar completes rapid turnaround project

County Durham based subsea cable protection specialist Tekmar Group has completed a rapid turnaround project in under four weeks for clients Deepocean and Hengtong Group, supplying over 6.5km of cable protection weighing around 6.5 tonnes.

The project was in support of the EDP WindFloat venture off the Portuguese coast. The work explores the production of innovative technologies for offshore wind power development in sea depths of more than 40m, seen by many in the industry as a step change for the development of offshore wind.
