An introduction to the data protection legislation in the UK including the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation.
This course will cover:
- the key terminology used in legislation;
- the principles;
- obligations of data controllers and data processors;
- individuals’ rights; and
- penalties for non-compliance.
This is an interactive course where delegates will apply the principles learnt to case studies and will have ample opportunity to ask questions.
