Construction Services: How can we help?
The Construction Industry in the North East has suffered immeasurably as a result of the recession, the down turn in the housing market and similar restrictions on public sector project spending. It is therefore vitally important to have access to professional support to unlock the value that exists in a company's construction debt ledger.
Our Construction and Engineering Team is headed by Rob Langley who is a national construction law expert.
We advise on all aspects of the recovery mechanism including adjudication, arbitration and proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court.
We have formulated a working partnership with G R Bland, a charted quantity surveyor to assist in a book debt recovery mechanism for Insolvency Practitioners in relation to construction cases. We will act on a contingency basis in relation to such matters and in appropriate cases will commence adjudication proceedings to prompt recovery.
We also advise on all aspects of insolvency issues in the supply chain. We can look at issues regarding retention of title, contractual termination provisions and safeguarding your rights against an Employer who is not paying you in accordance with the contract.
