I have more than 16 years' experience in advising on all aspects of employment law issues. I am highly skilled in dealing with employment tribunal case management and advocacy involving high value, complex individual and multi-party actions. I have extensive specialist knowledge of equality and diversity issues relating to workplace relationships and provision of services to customers. My expertise of organisational and structural issues within plc, private sector and public sector organisations is first rate. I regularly advise clients on organisational changes, often involving negotiations with employee representatives regarding changes to terms and conditions of employment and collective redundancy situations. Chambers & Partners 2012 praises me for "clear and effective advice" and "timely responses" with "particular expertise in advising clients on tribunal cases."

I have comprehensive experience of defending and prosecuting employment tribunal litigation proceedings involving claims for unfair dismissal, unfair selection for redundancy, discrimination and whistleblowing allegations. I also advise on the recruitment of non-UK and non-EU nationals, consider issues relating to work permits and visa arrangements and liaise with the UK Border Agency. I have devised a comprehensive training programme for managers and employees on employee relations management.
