I joined Muckle in February 2011, having spent nine years at Watson Burton leading their insolvency team. I have a vast array of experience in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious insolvency work including Business Restructuring and Turnaround work. I have specific expertise in acting in pre-pack administration sales and purchases and have dealt with numerous transactions since 2003.

I acted for Newcastle College in its multi-million pound acquisition of Carter and Carter plc from administrators. I’m looking forward to developing Muckle’s reputation as the outstanding firm for helping businesses in the North East (and across the UK) avoid insolvency. I think providing that level of support to companies in distress will inevitably help to avoid insolvencies (something which our banking clients are very supportive of).
