Jonathan is head of the property services team. He has a strong reputation throughout the North East and is client relationship partner for many of the firm's property clients.

Jonathan is highly experienced in buying and selling land for development, development and joint venture agreements, investment sales and purchases. He regularly coordinates and project manages many of the large development projects, which the firm now undertakes.

In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys playing golf, and (now that he has retired from playing) watching rugby and coaching mini rugby at Percy Park RFC.

Why did you become a lawyer?
Because my mother said I was good at arguing with everyone, she meant arguing with her.

What has been the most challenging legal deal you've been involved in?
Dragonville Developments, development at Durham City Retail Park. It was a large development project on which we had to deal with 35 different sets of lawyers!

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Satisfied clients coming back.

What's the last CD you bought?

To be happy both professionally and personally.

Morning.

What would be your dream day?
Watching the British Lions clinching a series winning victory in New Zealand.
