Tony is head of the employment services group and has over 20 years experience in employment law. Graduating in law from Nottingham Trent University, Tony worked in the City and Manchester prior to joining the firm in 1998. Since then he has developed a reputation as one of the region's leading employment lawyers, being noted as a ‘very good practitioner’ by Legal 500. Using his experience he regularly advises a broad range of organisations and executives at senior level on complex contentious and non-contentious matters and has recently advised on a number of high profile cases in the region.

What do you most enjoy about living in the North East?
It's only an hour and half to the Lake District.
What would be your dream day?
Watching either of my sons run out at Lansdowne Road to get their first Irish Rugby cap.
What's your biggest extravagance?
Skiing.
What's your most irritating habit?
Tapping my foot.
