Judith is a partner in our property services team. She has a broad range of experience in property work but her principal areas of expertise lie in property finance and the buying and selling of land for development and investment purposes. Much of Judith's secured lending work is from outside of the North East region and involves all types of investment property and
borrowers, including those based overseas.

How do you see the property services team developing over the next few years?
Hopefully it will continue to grow both in size and in the breadth of work.
How would you describe your team?
Young and enthusiastic.
Why did you become a lawyer?
I thought it would be like the lawyers I saw on the TV and films, clearly I was deluded!
Why did you choose to work at Muckle LLP ?
I wanted to move back to the North East and Muckle LLP offered the right opportunity and quality of work.
What’s the best piece of business advice you've ever had?.....and what’s the worst?
Best advice - to recognise that everyone is fallible but by working together, most problems can be successfully resolved.
Worst advice - that being a lawyer can be treated like any other job. It isn’t a lifestyle choice - the client must always come first
Who or what makes you laugh?
My 19 month old daughter.
Describe how you live in 3 words?
Happily, impatiently and busily.
Is there anything you'd change about yourself?
I would be less impatient and more tolerant.
What are your personal ambitions?
To be happy and to see my daughter grow up.
Are you a morning or evening person?
Used to be an evening person but having a child makes you a morning person.
What do you most enjoy about living in the North East?
Being close to my family.
What would be your dream day?
A day in the sun with my husband and daughter, followed by a trip to the cinema and dinner with scallops and champagne!
