Muckle LLP built on the success of last years awards at the second North East Insider Dealmaker Awards dinner held at Gosforth Marriott on 11 September 2008, scooping three prestigious awards including 'Corporate Law Firm of the Year' ahead of other nominees Dickinson Dees, Ward Hadaway and Eversheds.

The awards, voted for by the North East corporate finance community, saw success for Associate Craig Swinhoe being voted "Young Dealmaker of the Year" and Partner and Head of the Commercial Services Group Robert Phillips, building on Andrew Davison's success last year to become "Corporate Lawyer of the Year".
