Our Charitable Fund

We set up our charitable fund six years ago with the intention to help to make cash grants to local charities and other voluntary organisations.

We’re immensely proud of the fact that, since the fund’s inception, over 60 cash grants have been made and a fascinating cross section of voluntary groups have benefited from it.

Our fund is comprises both a permanently endowed fund and a ‘flow through’, or annual giving, fund and is administered for us by the Community Foundation. So far, we’ve made contributions of very nearly £300,000 to the fund.
