Supporting the arts

The Sage Gateshead

As legal advisers to The North Music Trust we understand how big a role the arts play in the local community. We have sponsored a variety of events with The North Music Trust, including concerts and the Viennese Ball. Our support qualified for new sponsors’ funding and we were encouraged by the Arts & Business Sponsors’ Club to participate in an arts based training day for our staff. This involved everyone in the firm being taught how to sing and dance as a team building day and was a hugely successful event.

Artwork

We have used a local artist to paint pictures to brighten the office. Darran Bates’ colourful canvasses of North East scenes painted in the style of the Australian artist, Ken Done, were such a big hit with clients and our people that we decided to use them on our business cards, as our computer screen savers and in our corporate literature. We feel they represent the creative culture of the firm.

Business Memberships

We are active members of the Tyne & Wear Museums Business Partnership and the Arts & Business Sponsors’ Club and use their excellent events and venues to entertain clients and network generally.
